High Density Digital System
Participants are given an ankle tag at registration, these are fastened and the times recorded via electronic mats around the venue. This is the most simple and effective method for running events, triathlons and cycling events alike. The HDD systems can record hundreds of people per minute and you can have 4m* or 8m* start lines for road races and the same at the finish lines.
The HDD uses a 4m x 2m mat that can be rolled out in seconds. The mat is very thin and looks professional at the finish line of any event with none of the wrinkles or creases our competitors’ mats have.
The HDD system is excellent in the 4m long and 2m wide format for triathlon transition splits. We can use our older systems for remote run turn around splits however far they are away we can beam the results if necessary for live data or just import them in afterwards.
RFID Timing allows the full publishing of splits including transition splits as well as swim, bike, run and overall times for triathlon or for running, cycling events location splits.

The HDD System is our flagship low frequency system incorporating the latest in 134 kHz technology within a sturdy portable case. The HDD uses special digital circuitry with 16 stand alone readers on one PCB board to avoid issues with tag-collision when there is a high density of athletes on the timing mats. Up to 300 individual transponder codes can be read per second from the reader array making it virtually impossible to avoid detection when crossing the mat. The HDD System has been designed to be easy to setup with an inbuilt ethernet switch, single combined data and sync cable and single tuning knob. The whole system can be deployed in less than a minute and has all the capabilities to handle any density of runners or walkers in an event. The HDD system is particularly popular for triathlons and multisport.
